Abstract
In order to integrate methods of pathogen control, we carried out an assessment of the effects of two calcium concentrations and two soil treatments (1,3-dichloropropen + chloropycrine and a biological product) on two cultivars susceptible to Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. dianthi (Calypso and Kaly), and two tolerant of the disease (Indios and Nelson). Symptoms appeared at different times, but were first developed by the susceptible cultivars sown in soil with the biological product and 20 kg of Ca/ha.
Most effective against the disease in the Nelson cultivar, even with moderate doses of calcium, was 1,3-dichloropropen + chloropycrine.
Most effective against the disease in the Nelson cultivar, even with moderate doses of calcium, was 1,3-dichloropropen + chloropycrine.
