BIO-STIMULATING EFFECT OF SOME FERTILIZERS ON THE YIELD OF PEPPER

Abstract
In order to verify the effect of some bio-stimulating fertilizers on the yield of pepper, the experiment was conducted with three different fertilizers in comparison with control variant in the glasshouse.
We used three different fertilizers with organic and mineral matters: Radifarm, Energy and Algiton.
The cultivar used in the investigation was ‘Blondy F1’, type of bell pepper.
During the investigation period three applications were made.
First in the stage of potted young plants with 300 ml (0,6% solution of fertilizers) in the root area.
The rest were done after transplanting period over leaves (foliar treatment). The second in the stage of flowering with 100 ml of 0,2% solution of fertilizers, and the third in the stage of fruitfulness with 100 ml of 0,4% solution of fertilizers.
Standard technology of geoponic production with drip system (fertilization) was used.
As result of the bio-stimulating effect of examined fertilizers with organic and mineral matters, we got good results in comparison with the control variant.
The highest yield gave the variant treated with Radifarm in two years of the research 75,3 t/ha or 37,4% more than the control.
The average yield of the variant treated with Energy was 70,0 t/ha or 27,3% more than the control and 71,5 t/ha or 30,0% more than the control in variant treated with Algiton.
The differences in comparison with control variant for two years of the research were significant on the level 0,05 for variant Radifarm.
There were no significant differences for variants Energy and Algiton in comparison with the control variant.
