Abstract
The purpose of this study is to test the antimicrobial activity of the essential oils of Rosmarinus officinalis collected from two different regions at four different time intervals of the year against Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumonia, Acinetobacter baumanni, Serratia marcescens and Escherichia coli. Essential oils were obtained by hydrodistilation.
Results show that the antimicrobial activities of the essential oils against the tested bacteria differed, depending on location and seasonal variations.
