Abstract
The aromatherapeutic textiles are increasingly present in the clothing market.
In this work a simple method of obtaining these intelligent textiles was presented.
Initially, oils and perfumes are encapsulated by interfacial polycondensation.
One of the monomers chosen for the formation of the membrane is cyclodextrin which makes the particles refillable.
These microcapsules are then chemically modified to be grafted on cotton by covalent bonds.
Finally, a study of the diffusion of oils on grafted fabric shows the importance of the encapsulation.
