Abstract
Nowadays, the plants are more and more researched and used.
Their many virtues confer them an important place in the human life.
Because of its various interests the Aleppo pine occupies an important place in the forestry economics of Algeria.
Into small Kabylie, local populations use the resin of the Pinus halepensis species for the treatment of the muscular pains, like disinfectant of the respiratory and urinary tracts and as antifungal.
The effectiveness of this product is shown on many people, but it these virtues remain to be proven scientifically.
The resin is present on the market and in the forests of Aleppo pine covering great wide area of the region.
The gathering of the resin is practically done all year.
