Abstract
A pot experiment was carried out in greenhouse to investigate the effect of antitranspirants on growth and salt accumulation in the root zone of tomato plants.
Antitranspirants application significanly decreased salt accumulation in the root zone and increased total fruit yield of tomato plants under saline condition.
For example total fruit yield of plants treated by 2.5% epoxylinseed oil increased by about 51% for SAR 4 and 76% for SAR 8.
