Abstract
Series of experiments on some soilless media and their influence on tomato transplants were carried out in 1980, 1981. The growing media used were peat moss, vermiculite, sand or rice hulls with different levels of nutrients.
The highest quality transplants were obtained from peat moss + sand, peat moss + vermiculite, all sand treatments, or some rice hulls mixes.
