Abstract
Fabiana imbricata and Peristrophe speciosa are very attractive as potted plants, but the requirements for rapid and reliable flowering are unknown.
Therefore investigations on the control of flowering by temperature and light regimes were made.
The results show that flowering is controlled by daylength for Peristrophe (shortday conditions) and by low temperature (13/14°C) for Fabiana.
