Abstract
The Australian cherry breeding program based at Lenswood in South Australia, is a joint project between the South Australian Research and Development Institute and the Australian cherry industry.
It aims to produce crack resistant, large and self-fertile cherry varieties for overseas and domestic markets.
Five superior seedlings have been selected and are being tested in Australia and Europe.
