Abstract
The double-scaling method is an artificial propagation method which can easily be performed by the commercial bulb-grower.
According to experience acquired with several daffodil cultivars, the best results are obtained when the bulbs are scaled in August (about 4 weeks after lifting), the scales are stored at 25°C, and the planted scales are left in the soil for two growing seasons without lifting.
