The influence of Alar 85 and Retacel on a growth dynamics and yields at apricot of cvs.
Velkopavlovická, Rakovského and 3 perspective hybrids VS 09/12, VS 12/41, VS 9/83 bred at Research Breeding Station Veselé was investigated.
The data were analysed of Alar 85 and Retacel using statistical F-test.

The results of trials between 1982–84 indicated a highly significant effect of Alar 85 and Retacel in reducing annual shoot length, internode length, crown size on yield.
The sprays had various effects on cultivars.
A negative effect on tree vigour was not observed.
There seems to be a possibility of using Alar and Retacel for growth control of apricot trees.
More compact growth of trees was reached which is of practical significance in establishing plantations.
