Abstract
Apricot chlorotic leaf roll, a mycoplasma disease, is the main cause of Apricot decline in France.
From time to time, diseased trees recover after a severe attack.
Young trees propagated by grafting from such trees appear resistant to the disease.
Sensible trees may become resistant as well, by inserting in them, tissues from recovered trees or from trees propagated from these last ones.
Protected trees display growth and development anomalies more or less severe according to the cultivar, the root-stock, the climate and the source of protection.
Possibilities of applications are considered taking account of the results of studies in experimental fields and commercial orchards as well.
