Abstract
Xiphinema vuittenezi seems to be a dangerous pest of apricot first of all in non-calcareous and calcareous loam soil, under the climatic conditions of Hungary.
It is supposed to cause both a primary injury, being a direct parasite and an indirect one, associated with the deteriorating condition of apricot trees.
