Abstract
During 1974–84, both growth and fertility of the Velkopavlovická LE-19/2 apricot on twenty different rootstocks of Prunus armeniaca L. were evaluated.
The rootstock varieties Achrori (180) and Pseudo-Paviot (158) were found reducing the former at a level of significance.
Some of the rootstock varieties tended to significantly increase fertility of the variety budded.
The combinations in which the rootstock was a variety of the geotype Prunus armeniaca orientalis were found to be most fertile: Achrori (180), Arzami (206), Oranzevokrasnyj (188), Zard (207) and Vynoslivyj russkij (199).
