Abstract
‘Érdi bôtermô’ sour cherry variety was tested on inbred S2 Mahaleb seedling populations as rootstocks in an orchard near Ráckeve, Hungary.
The vigour of the trees was lower on S2 populations than S1 (‘Korponay’ seedling). The yield was very different for every population, but there were a few S1 populations with lower vigour that produced a higher specific yield than that of the control ‘Korponay’ seedling rootstock.
