Abstract
The influence of seedling rootstocks [Myrobalan, Wangenheima Prune] and vegetatively propagated [Pixy, St.
Julien – GF 655/2] on growth yield and fruit quality was investigated.
One year old trees of ‘Oullins Golden’, ‘Cacanska Najbolja’, ‘Stanley’ were planted on heavy soil in piedmont area in south part of Poland.
Julien – GF 655/2] on growth yield and fruit quality was investigated.
One year old trees of ‘Oullins Golden’, ‘Cacanska Najbolja’, ‘Stanley’ were planted on heavy soil in piedmont area in south part of Poland.
All rootstocks except Myrobalan seedlings decreased growth of plum trees, increased their productivity and had no influence on fruit quality.
Little suckering was observed only with trees grafted on GF 655/2 rootstock.
