Abstract
In this study, the effect of (IBA, NAA) in MS medium with environment effect on rooting was examined.
Half strength MS Salts with IBA (0.5, 1, 1.5) mg/1, NAA (0.5, 1, 1.5) mg/L, sucrose (30, 40) g/L, and agar 7g/L at pH5.7 were used in this study.
Half of the explants of about 1-1.5 cm were kept in the dark for 7 days and then transferred to a 16 h photoperiod.
In a rooting test, the effect of IBA, NAA, sucrose and environmental conditions on root number, root length, elongation, proliferation, and chlorosis were considered.
The best hormone for rooting was IBA (0.5) mg/L with sucrose (30) g/L. Light was effective on proliferation and lowered chlorosis.
Darkness was effective on root number, root length and elongation.
The percent of rooting was 80%.
