Abstract
In order to study and analyze the effects of different treatments on vegetative parameters in Pistacia vera seedling, a number of special plastic bags sized 15 × 40 cm were chosen for sowing of seed, filled with agricultural soil, farmyard manure and sand with ratios of 1-1-1, and then the seeds of Italiaie cultivar were sown in bags, with different kinds of treatments (Treatment with Cycocel, root pruning and treatment with copper sulfate) provided for this purpose.
In March 2000, some kinds of parameters have been measured in shoot organs.
Treatments, cycocel liquid decreased all vegetative parameters.
There was a significant difference (p<0.01) between cycocel liquid and other treatments in all characteristics (seeding length, number of leaf area of leaf, diameter of crown, dry and fresh leaf weight, dry and fresh stem weight). On the other hand, these treatments had no significant difference with cycocel spray for leaf area.
