INVESTIGATIONS ON HERBICIDES APPLICATION IN APRICOT ORCHARDS

In the last two decades the labor power shortage in agriculture required the time consuming and high expenses works to be replaced.
The investigations carried out by Brandley (1968), Coman (1968), Radvany and Bihary (1972), Clanet and Schimitlin (1972) proved that herbicides application can successfully replace the mechanical weed control in fruit trees plantings.

The investigations carried out at Fruit Research Station Bihor during 1974—1977 had in view to establish the most suitable herbicides for apricot orchards.
