Abstract
We observed in different places that occasional apricot trees grafted on plum root stock may completely recover after showing perfectly characteristic symptoms of CLRD. Trees badly damaged by winter frosts or severely pruned back would be mainly subject to recovery.
On such trees, latent buds close to the trunk may develop strong symptomless shoots.
On some other trees, on the contrary mild symptoms remain obvious particularly a limited early bud break.
