Abstract
Oidium is caused by Erysiphe necator Schwein, a biotrophic fungus belonging to the phylum Ascomycota. It develops on the epidermal cells of leaf surfaces, on the underside of the leaf.
It is among the diseases that attack vineyards in Morocco, it causes significant yield losses and early mortality of vines.
It is therefore essential to understand and identify the resistance mechanisms of grapevine to this disease.
In this framework of our work, we have studied sequences analogous to the resistance genes to powdery mildew, for the research of simple sequence repeat (SSR). The total number of microsatellites identified is 516 SSR, the most common of which are tetranucleotides (50%), followed by pentanucleotides (22%), hexanucleotides (13%), trinucleotides (8%), mononucleotides (6%) and dinucleotides (1%). Then, we developed pairs of primers for the SSRs found, with each SSR associated with three pairs of primers.
