Abstract
Measuring of the efficiency at several stages in fruit-culture is very important to achieve a high supply effectiveness, small losses and a maximum capacity utilization of the means of transport.
The supply effective final product, the net product and the gross product are put in the centre of consideration.
Tendencies in development in fruit-culture are shown with the help of growing rates.
They indicate a particularly heavy rise in the prime cost of the materialized labour altogether and those referring to the labour force.
On the other hand, the rise in payment of human labour remains relatively low.
This is connected with the economic policy in the GDR which guarantees low selling prices for foodstuffs (incl. fruit and vegetables) now and for the future by subsidizing the basic food stuffs.
Moreover, the traffic rates, the rents and other things are subsidized.
The decrease of losses and the preservation of quality which are especially important for easily perishable products such as fruit, particularly strawberries, sweet and sour cherries, are closely connected with the determination of efficiency.
