Abstract
The paper presents an analysis of the demand for tomatoes and cucumbers in Sweden.
The results show that the price elasticity for tomatoes has decreased from -0.37 (1969–76) to -0.16 (1977–1985). Cucumbers had a price elasticity of -0.30 (1977–85). Income elasticities were only significant for tomatoes during the first part of the period: 0.66 (1969–76).
