Abstract
This paper is an extension of earlier studies, which apply comparative static market equilibrium models to analyze the effects of factor price changes resp. market policy measures on the market equilibrium of greenhouse vegetables.
A multi-product/multi-season/multi-region model has been developed and the possibilities of its application are demonstrated by analyzing the effects of the Southern enlargement of the EC and of preferential trade agreements between the EC and Mediterranean countries on the international market equilibrium for tomatoes and cucumbers.
