Abstract
Five concentrations of paclobutrazol were applied as soil drenches to container-grown acerola to determine its effects on vegetative growth and fruiting.
The 0.5 g a.i. treatment induced earlier sustained fruiting as a result of chemical pruning.
The final fruit-yield was 192% greater than the control.
