Abstract
Six week old asparagus seedlings, CV.UC72, were transplanted into 2.8L pots containing washed quartz sand.
Daily irrigations with nutrient solutions that contained 10% of the macronutrients and 0% of the micronutrients, based on a Hoagland Nutrient solution, were applied for 3 months.
The nutrient deficiency symptoms were described and photographed.
Plant growth measurements were recorded at the termination of the study.
