Abstract
CEPA, in concentrations greater than 2000 ppm, satisfactorily defoliated apple trees while inhibiting tree growth and increasing flowering.
However, sometimes bark injury and a lowered resistance to frost was experienced.
These harmful effects were reduced and better defoliation obtained by using CEPA at 1000 ppm together with CuSO4 at 0. 75%.
