Abstract
SADH at 1750 to 2000 ppm applied to apple trees in the early part of the season resulted in a significantly earlier flowering the following year, whilst applications late in the season delayed flowering.
Both early and late applications resulted in a lower average fruit weight the following year.
Application of GA in the following year did not entirely overcome the depressing effect of SADH on fruit weight.
