Abstract
Plant hormones control or influence essentially every facet of plant life.
Five substances, or groups of substances – auxin, gibberellins, cytokinins, abscisic acid and ethylene – act and interact in many different ways.
The roles that these substances play in the regulation and development of shoots, fruits, transpiration, etc. are discussed.
