Abstract
In experiments on box-grown tomatoes, K and Ca had no effects on the soluble solids content and titratable acidity of the fruits.
Irrigation every 3 days decreased soluble solids and titratable acidity compared with 5-day irrigation.

The incidence of blotchy ripening decreased with K treatment, in contrast to Ca, but the effects of irrigation treatments on blotchy ripening were not consistent.
