Abstract
Four cultivars of sweet pepper, California Wonder, World Beater, Yolo Wonder and Cadice demonstrated significant diferences in fruit yield and size.
Cadice grew more vigorously and significantly outyielded the other cultivars.

The cultivars showed no significant differences in flower bud initiation anthesis, fruit set and first harvest.

All four cultivars were infected by mosaic virus, but Cadice was the most tolerant.
Cadice, California Wonder and World Beater are recommended for growing for export.
