Abstract
Miguanxin 1, a new early ripening table cultivar with large fruit size, was selected from a local old variety Fengmiguan in Shaanxi province.
The fruit is oblong with larger size comparing to Fengmiguan. The fruit weight is 8.4-25 g, with a soluble solids content of 26-32% and edible rate of 96.5%. The flesh is crisp and juicy displaying excellent quality.
The fruits mature in middle August in Shaanxi and belongs to an early-ripening cultivar.
In addition, it is also easy to cultivate and bears fruits early, as well as has certain resistance to fruit split.
