Abstract
Yanliangcuizao, a new crisp and early ripening Chinese jujube cultivar, was selected from the local germplasm pool in Yanliang, Xian city, northwest of China.
It ripens in early September in local area belonging to a middle-early maturing cultivar.
The fresh fruits have large size with a average weight of 21 g; The fruits contain soluble solids of 33% at mature.
The flesh is crisp and juicy being suitable for fresh fruit market.
In addition, it has high yield and is also resistant to fruit split and anthracnosis disease.
