Abstract
T2 ribonucleases (RNase T2) ubiquitously exist in plants and animals, playing a pivotal role in plant growth and development, stress response, and self-incompatibility.
Here, we identified 9 RNase T2 family members in sour jujube (Ziziphus jujuba Mill. var. spinosa (Bunge) Hu ex H. F. Chow., and systematically analyze their chromosomal location, duplication events, physicochemical properties, structural characteristics, phylogenetic evolution, and expression patterns, thereby laying the foundation for further elucidating the biological functions of RNase T2 genes in jujube species.
