Abstract
All the three tested walnut varieties can be succesfully propagated by winter bench grafting, followed by forcing.
Among the rootstocks, the seedlings of cv.
Köpcös gave the best results, over 80 %. Juglans regia seedlings usually gave better results than those of J. nigra.
