Abstract
The study was carried out at the National Institute of Fruit Tree Science, Tsukuba, Japan.
The total number of estimated cultivars was 140, including the following apricot types: European apricots, Ansu cultivars, Ansu X Armeniaca and Armeniaca X Ansu hybrids (AAH), Mume (“Koume”, “Ume”, “Bungo”), as well as plums – P. salicina, and Interspecific hybrids: Ansu X Mume hybrids (AMH), Salicina X Mume hybrids (PMH) and Salicina X Ansu hybrids (PAH). The flower and shoot colour was estimated.
Special attention was paid to the leaf: colour spectrum (L, a, b, Δ, E), the average leaf length, width, petiole length, colour of the upper and lower petiole side, dominant number and shape of the glands.
