Abstract
An assessment of the cup quality attributes of a new disease resistant Coffea arabica cultivar Ruiru 11 was made by professional liquorers in the Trade in Kenya.
The bean and cup quality of cultivar Ruiru 11 was found to be similar to popular commercial cultivars SL 28 and K7. The taste panels were also similar in the rating for raw quality and overall standard irrespective of cultivars tasted.
