Abstract
Grammatophyllum speciosum is one of the world’s most enormous orchids, called giant orchid, tiger orchid, sugarcane orchid, and queen of orchids native to Indonesia.
Vegetative and generative morphological characters of nine G. speciosum accessions in Bogor Indonesia as specific locations were assessed using Pearson’s correlation and cluster heatmap analysis using R Stat 3.1.0. The current investigation into G. speciosum phenotypic characters showed different results for vegetative, or generative, or generative and generative characteristics.
When vegetative and generative characteristics are executed, plants with a high number of leaflets will have a high number of pseudobulbs, and plants with a high number of pseudobulb will have a wider pseudobulb diameter.
Positive correlations were found between pseudobulbs length with flower height, leaflet number with lip length, leaflet width with flower width, flower height, sepal width, sepal height, petal width, petal length, and lip length.
These data showed that pseudobulb and leaf characteristics are inversely proportional to flower perianth.
