Abstract
When growing young plants in small containers a combination of fertilization and irrigation (fertilization with each watering) is recommendable.
Depending on the nutrient demand of the plants the optimal concentration of nutrient solution varies from 0.5 to 2 g/l of a complete fertilizer.
In comparison with larger containers only a slight increase of nutrient concentration is necessary.
