Abstract
Rosa cvs. ‘Bingo’, ‘Mercedes’, ‘Red Succes’ and ‘Sonia’ were grafted on unrooted semi-hardwood cuttings.
As rootstocks were used: Rosa canina ‘Pava’, R. multiflora and R. rubiginosa.
The best results were obtained with R. multiflora (in average 83% rooted after grafting in August). Wounding of the base of R. canina ‘Pava’ cuttings improved rooting.
Use of two grafting techniques, viz: split-grafting and copulation-grafting, gave similar results.
