Abstract
It has been proved experimentally that Drosera seeds germinate without major problems, seedlings grow well, plants branch intensively and root quickly while cultivated in vitro.
From all the media investigated in the course of this study the best results were obtained on RM medium.
Growth of Drosera plants in vitro is continous.
While carrying out the subculture of rosettes from axillary buds or single leaves it is possible to obtain hundreds of plants a year.
Cultured in vitro Drosera plants can be stored for several to 18 months, if necessary, at a temperature of 1–8°C.
