“FILIERE” OF PERSIAN WALNUT FOR WOOD PRODUCTION IN ITALY

A study with a "filière" approach was started to characterize the market demand and the quality requirement of walnut timber, focussing on the first transformation level of wood industry.

This study will be useful to suggest cultivation models for the specific timber production and for the double attitude (both fruit and wood).

In the present report the products characteristics, the actors that work in the "filière", the relationships and the products flows between the actors are considered.
