Abstract
The inheritance of four variable enzyme systems (6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase, shikimate dehydrogenase, malate dehydrogenase and phosphoglucomutase) was studied in eight progenies of Juglans regia. Results were consistent with the existence of four polymorphic loci, two (6Pgd-2 and Pgm-1) with three alleles and two (Sdh-1 and Mdh-3) with two alleles each.
The analysis of other invariable regions of activity suggested the presence of six monomorphic genes fixed in the progenies analyzed: 6Pgd-1, Sdh-2, Mdh-1, Mdh-2, Mdh-4 and Pgm-2.
