Abstract
A technological complex of machines and equipments for mechanized postharvest of walnut and almond fruits has been developed in Bulgaria.
It consists of dump trailers for fill-up-transportation of the crop gathered, an immovable production line for wet inertia peeling of walnut green flakes 94 – 97 %, and dry inertia peeling of almond green flakes 78 – 96 %, separating the nuts 92 – 99 %, washing and additional walnut shell cleaning 96 – 98 %, drying into rotary evaporator with a receiving and a feeding hopper, calibrating into five fractions 90,32 %, taking the kernels out 88 – 97 %, and various weight vacuum-packing.

The nutshell and green flake refuses are offered for the production of active carbon, dye-stuffs, and medicine extracts of walnut green flakes, and fodder meal from almond green peels.
The capacity of the technological complex is a ton of the crop gathered per an hour and it increases the labour productivity about 16 – 20 times.
Eight persons are the necessary service staff.
