Le cépage ‘Agudelo’ (Chenin blanc) en Espagne

Abstract

The region of Galicia, located in the extreme northwest of the Iberian Peninsula, is the region where the ‘Agudelo’ cultivar has traditionally received the most attention. ‘Agudelo’, among others, is one of the cultivar that had survived in Betanzos after the phylloxera crisis.
Since 1986, the location and study of the existing plant material in the area has been developed (prospecting, interviews, ampelographic, agronomic, oenological studies, molecular analysis). The identity of these materials of ‘Agudelo’ is confirmed, as a synonym of Chenin blanc

Résumé

La région de Galice, située à l’extrême nord-ouest de la péninsule ibérique, est la région où la variété ‘Agudelo’ a traditionnellement fait l’objet d’une plus grande attention, bien qu’elle ait été peu implantée. ‘Agudelo’ serait, entre autres, une des variétés qui avait perdurée à Betanzos après la crise de phylloxera.
Depuis 1986, la localisation et l’étude du matériel végétal existant dans la région ont été développées (prospection, entretiens, études ampélographiques, agronomiques, œnologiques, analyse moléculaire). L’identité de ces matériaux de la variété ‘Agudelo’ est confirmée, comme synonyme de Chenin blanc.
