Abstract
The timing of pollinators activity on kiwifruit flowers has been investigated.
There is a sudden decline of bees activity after midday.
This behavior corresponds with the breakdown of relative humidity after sunrise.
As bees have essentially contacts with the stigmas near the stamens, stigmas erected in the middle of the flower are seldom pollinated.
A linear decrease is observed in the number of seeds from the carpels of the widest diameter compared to that of the narrowest diameter.
Stigmasdisposition among the cultivars is discussed.
