Abstract
A procedure for electrophoretic separation of kiwifruit leaf proteins has been developed.
Fully expanded leaves have proven to be suitable material for separation of proteins on 15% acrylamide gel.
Different banding patterns and band intensities were obtained for several cultivars of kiwifruit, and the results from this work also showed some promise for distinguishing between male and female vines.
