Abstract
The influence of kinetin, in combination with NAA in the concentrations 0.0, 0.5, 1.5, 4.5, 13.5 /uM, on carnation shoots cv. "Scania 3 C" was investigated.
The shoots were obtained from the shoot tips grown in vitro.
The shoots were grown 4 weeks on the modified Murashige and Skoog medium.
The highest fresh weight of shoots was obtained on the medium with 13.5 /uM kinetin and 0.5 /uM NAA. The highest fresh weight and number of roots was found on the media with 0.5 and 13.5 /uM NAA without kinetin.
