Abstract
Abscission zone located between fruit and pedicel (AZ3) has been recently investigated and characterized from an ultrastructural and biochemical point of view.
In order to achieve further informations on the biochemical steps involved in activation of AZ3 cells, cellulase and polygalacturonase isozyme complexes were partially characterized.
